  • Thrombocytopenia (low platelet count)
  • Raynaud's phenomenon (fingers and toes turning white or blue in response to cold or stress)

Diagnosis of Antiphospholipid Antibody (APLA) Panel Test

The diagnosis of antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) typically involves a combination of medical history, physical examination, and laboratory tests, including the antiphospholipid antibody (APLA) panel test. The APLA panel test includes the following tests:

  • Anticardiolipin antibodies (IgG and IgM)
  • Lupus anticoagulant
  • Beta-2 glycoprotein I antibodies (IgG and IgM)

If the test results are positive for antiphospholipid antibodies, additional tests may be required to confirm the diagnosis of APS. These tests may include imaging tests, such as ultrasound, CT scan, or MRI, and other blood tests to rule out other medical conditions.

Cost of Antiphospholipid Antibody (APLA) Panel Test

The cost of the Antiphospholipid Antibody (APLA) Panel Test in India ranges from INR 6000 to INR 8000, depending on the location and the diagnostic center. The cost of the test may vary from one diagnostic center to another, and it is important to compare the prices and services before making a decision.

Conclusion

The Antiphospholipid Antibody (APLA) Panel Test is a valuable tool for diagnosing antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) and other autoimmune disorders. If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of APS, it is important to consult a healthcare provider and get the necessary tests done. The cost of the test may vary, but it is important to choose a reliable diagnostic center that offers quality services at an affordable price.
